Information on my teaching philosophy, grading policies, course evaluations, etc., can be found in my Teaching Portfolio.
During the past two years, I developed two self-paced, web-based courses, one in Trigonometry and Analytic Geometry and the other in College Algebra. Here is an article about the Trigonometry course.
My research area is Operator Algebras, a subfield of Functional Analysis. Most of my work has involved nonselfadjoint algebras, including work in the areas of compact perturbations, algebras generated by commutative subspace lattices, and limit algebras.
