- General
- (Jan. 28) The bookstore's online site has been listing the incorrect textbook
package for Math 141. That has now been corrected. See the Getting
Started page for detailed ordering information. Make sure that you order the
package with the correct ISBN number.
- (Jan. 7) Welcome to the Extended Education section of Math 140! To register for
the course, contact the Extended and
Continuing Education Office. To begin the course, follow the instructions on
the Getting Started page.
- (Jan. 7) Note that this section is intended primarily for extended education
students. If you are enrolled in the regular fall semester at Iowa State University,
then in most cases you should register in one of the on-campus sections instead.
However, because this section and the on-campus sections run on different schedules,
it may be appropriate in certain circumstances for on-campus students to enroll in
this section. Please contact the instructor
if you are an on-campus student and you have questions about which section you should
enroll in.

- (Apr. 11) I have extended the deadline for the Trigonometry
Final Exam to Sunday April 14, because I
did not make the exam available until Wed. night. I will also allow you to take this
exam twice in the same day if you want, but remember that you may only take the exam
two times total.

7 to Saturday April 20.

- Remember that you can take as many unit pretests as you want to prepare for the
proctored unit exam. In addition, you may repeat the proctored unit exam up until
the deadline date (but you can only take it one time each day). Remember also that
no calculators are allowed on the Unit 1 Exam.

- (Mar. 14) ISU on-campus students: The Math Computer Lab will be open 11am-3pm Monday-Friday during Spring Break.
