  • (Oct. 2) As I indicated in an email to you last week, email service to the Math Department was down for awhile. Service has been restored, so you may now again send me email at the math141x@math.iastate.edu and math142x@math.iastate.edu addresses.
  • (Sept. 1) Proctor registration is now available. See the Proctor Arrangements page for details.
  • (Aug. 31) Welcome to the Extended Education sections of Math 141 and 142! Both courses begin today, Aug. 31, and end on Dec. 16. To begin your course, follow the instructions on the Getting Started page. Two items are of particular importance before you begin the course:
    1. Order your textbook as soon as possible.
    2. Begin making arrangements for an exam proctor (see the Proctor Arrangements page for details). Proctor registration will become available on Sept. 1.
• Math 141
  • Trigonometry Final Exam
    • (Dec. 4) Reminder: The Trigonometry Final Exam must be completed by Friday December 16.
      • You are allowed to take this exam twice (but only once per day).
      • Remember that you will need a 2-hour block of time.
      • You may take as many practice unit exams as you want to prepare for the Trigonometry Final Exam.
  • Unit 6
    • (Nov. 27) Reminder: Unit 6 must be completed by Friday December 9. Remember that you can take as many pretests as you want to prepare for the proctored unit exams. In addition, you may repeat a proctored unit exam up until the deadline date (but you can only take it one time each day).
  • Unit 5
    • (Nov. 12) Reminder: Unit 5 must be completed by Tuesday November 29. Remember that you can take as many pretests as you want to prepare for the proctored unit exams. In addition, you may repeat a proctored unit exam up until the deadline date (but you can only take it one time each day).

    • (Sept. 18) Reminder: The Online Testing Practice assignment must be completed by Thursday October 13.

  • Analytic Geometry Final Exam
    • (Dec. 4) Reminder: The Analytic Geometry Final Exam must be completed by Friday December 16.
      • You are allowed to take this exam twice (but only once per day).
