are tentativley scheduled as noted on campus and on the state's
fiber optic system,

Frequently
asked questions.........
- What
is the format for ICN courses?
ICN
is interactive television. You attend class at an ICN classroom
in your area. You see and hear the instructor and the ISU
class live. They see and hear you live. It's cutting edge
technology, easy to learn and fun. Many class activities
are cooperative group based. It's beneficial to have at
least two MSM students at each ICN site.
- Can
I complete this degree entirely off campus?
The
core mathematics courses are offered on a three-year cycle
on campus and via ICN. You may need to take electives on campus
or from another institution.
- How
will I know where I can take these courses?
Scheduling
on the ICN is competitive, but courses that fit in a degree
program have priority. Sites are determined by student registrations.
If your want to take courses off-campus, request an ICN
site on a registration form from ISU Extended and Continuing
Education, 800/262-0015. If you wish to attend classes on
campus, touch tone register with the registrar's office,
515/268-7180.
