IEEE Control Systems Society
SIAM Activity Group on Control and Systems Theory

The Control Systems Society of the Institute of Electric and Electronic Engineers and the Activity Group on Control and Systems Theory of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics are the largest professional societies in the area of theoretical and applied control theory. Both groups have an international membership of engineers and mathematicians.
IEEE and SIAM serve their membership through the publication of journals, organization of conferences, support of students, and in many other ways that promote the advancement of control theory and the professional development of scientists. As the Liaison Representative, Dr Kleimann's job is to facilitate communication between the two societies and to coordinate their activities.
