About Me
I am currently a visiting assistant professor at Macalester College, where I am teaching two sections of Math 279: Discrete Mathematics.

My reasearch is at the crossroads of linear algebra and graph theory. Specifically, I work in spectral graph theory constructing cospectral graphs for various matrices. I also like to dabble in other areas of graph theory, including TurĂ¡n problems and random graph processes.

I finished my PhD at Iowa State University in May 2017 under the advisement of Steve Butler. I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota in 2012 with a BA in mathematics and a minor in physics.

When I'm not working on math, I'm usually crafting, singing, or reading. I also love solving all types of puzzles! The above photo is from a visit to Vancouver, BC for a conference celebrating the work of Ron Graham.
