Assignment 13 (assigned 2/20, due 2/22)

Prove cases 4, 5, and 6 (as stated in class) of the triangle inequality using the method presented in class.

Write a complete proof of the triangle inequality using the method outlined in Activity 3.26 on page 125.

Read section 3.5 through page 133 and do problem 1aon page 138.

Study the proof of Theorem 3.30 parts 1 and 2 on page 134.  You will be responsible for understanding this proof and being able to reproduce it (in your own words).
