This course is intended to introduce students basic procedures and techniques for solving ordinary differential equations. First order equations, linear equations, constant coefficient equations. - Homework: Problems will be assigned weekly and will be collected on Tuesday of the following week. They will be partly graded. Late homework is strongly discouraged.
For late homework, penalty applies:
1) 20% penalty for turning in the next class from due
2) 50% for turning in within one week from due after the next class
3) No credit for even later ones.
- Exams: There will be three hourly in-class exams and one two-hour final. No books, notes will be permitted in the exams. There will be no make-up exam.

- Grading: The in-class exams count 30% of your grade, the homework counts 30%, and the final exam counts 40%. An appropriate scaling may be applied at the end of the semester to determine the final grade.
