I will be giving two presentations at the AMS/MAA Joint Meetings in Washington, D.C. in January, 2009.
Thursday, 8 Jan, 8:30AM, “Sage in an early-graduate research course investigating the minimum rank problem,” AMS Special Session on SAGE and Mathematical Research Using Open Source Software, I. This presentation focuses on the experiences we had using Sage in graduate research course in spring, 2008.
Thursday, 8 Jan, 2:30PM, “Minimum rank of graph powers,” AMS Special Session on Spectra of Matrix Patterns and Applications to Dynamical Systems, II. This presentation focuses on work done in a group started at the American Institute of Mathematics workshop on spectra of matrices.
You may find several sections of this website and other resources valuable:
Courses — A list of selected resources I helped develop from courses I taught or TA'd.
Conferences and Workshops — Slides and other materials I developed for various conferences and workshops.
Ultraconnected and Critical Graphs — My master's thesis, which examines a graph parameter that comes up in the positive definite partial matrix completion problem.
