As many of you will be using Matlab (http://www.mathworks.com/) in your schooling and careers, I highly suggest that you download your free student copy and become familiar with it this semester. You can find instructions to install Matlab at http://www.it.iastate.edu/matlab/student/
I will try to use Matlab and other software in the course.
