Week 9 communications model for data hiding

Here are some sites I use to find journal and conference publications in steganography:

IEEE

ACM

Other reference books for steganography, watermarking, steganalysis, image processing, digital signal processing, and cryptography.

I have a link to an article that is a nontechnical overview of data hiding here.

Supplemental  Reading List

This list gives articles, books, book sections, etc. to supplement the lecture material.

DRM - Digital Rights Management:  Selection 1.

Wavelets.

Online:

A Practical Guide to Wavelets and online material.  This link goes to some online material and an article on wavelets, published by the American Meteorological Society.

A Really Friendly Guide to Wavelets - This is an introductory text to wavelets.  There is math in it and it expects you to have some engineering background.  It should be readable for most of you.  It is not mathematically rigorous nor has it passed peer-review, but it is one of the popular web introductions available on wavelets.

Wavelets for Kids, a more mathematically rigorous introduction. (Also on WebCT)

Available on WebCT:

Wavelets for Kids, a more mathematically rigorous introduction.

Fourier and Wavelet Transforms.  This article published in the Notices of the American Mathematical Society, gives an introductory overview of how the Fourier and wavelet transforms are used for signal analysis.

A Little Introduction to Wavelets - This short (6 page) paper gives a very general overview to wavelets and how they are characterized relative to other types of transforms and their uses.

An Introduction to Wavelets - published in IEEE and provides more of a signal processing/engineering perspective.

A Survey of wavelet-domain watermarking algorithms - published in SPIE.

Wavelet based watermarking method for digital images using the human visual system;Young-Sik Kim; O-Hyung Kwon; Rae-Hong Park; Electronics Letters, Volume: 35, Issue: 6 , 18 March 1999.
