Syllabus

The author of the textbook wrote the following syllabus, which includes the course outline, the (slightly larger) list of topics covered, homework assignments (upon which your assignments will be based), and errata sheet for the 4th edition of the textbook. We will use a different grading system, and occasionally you may have slightly less problems to hand in, but otherwise we will try to stay reasonably close to that syllabus.

Homework 1 - Due Thursday, September 21, in class.

Homework 2 - Due Thursday, October 12, in class.

Midterm - Due Tuesday, November 7, in class.

Homework 3 - Due Thursday, November 30, in class.

Final Exam - Due Wednesday, December 13, by 5pm, in 456 Carver.
