AVS can read a UCD file and convert it to an AVS unstructured
cell data format;

IVREAD
can read a file in one of the formats ASE, BYU, DXF, HRC, IV,
OBJ, OOGL, STL, TRI, VLA or WRL, and write it as a UCD file.
