SMF Files
These are some examples of SMF files. The SMF format was used by
Michael Garland as an input and output format for his surface
simplifying program QSLIM.

Programs to work with an SMF file include:

QSLIM
can "simplify" a surface, reducing the number of polygons.
Programs to convert an SMF file to another format:

IVREAD
can read an SMF file and write a version in ASE, BYU, DXF, HRC, IV,
OBJ, POV, STL, TEC, TRI, UCD, VLA or WRL format.
Programs to convert a file to SMF format:

can read a file in one of the formats ASE, BYU, DXF, HRC, IV,
OBJ, OOGL, STL, TRI, VLA or WRL, and write it as an SMF file.
Files you may copy:

bones.smf,the bones of the foot;

cow.smf, a cow;

colors attached to each node;

with using transforms and begin/end blocks;
