I was a visitor in the Mathematics Department at Iowa State University from 21 August 2000 to 30 June 30 2002.

I was often to be found in the Math Computer Lab, doing online testing, computer exercises, and demonstrations for courses including:

• Math 10, Basic Algebra;
• Math 140, College Algebra;
• Math 141/142, Trigonometry and Analytic Geometry;
• Math 150, Discrete Mathematics;
• Math 166H, Honors Calculus II;
• Math 471, Numerical Analysis;

In the lab, we used various classroom, learning and testing programs including:

• ALEKS, a tutorial program;
• CBT, a computer-based training program.
• EDU, an online testing program.
• WebCT, an online classroom system.

In the summer of 2001, I was involved in a Research Experience for Undergraduates program.

At the University of Pittsburgh, I designed and conducted the lab sections of the graduate numerical analysis courses Math 2070 and Math 2071.
