Testing and Grading:
-Homework assignments will be given every week, they will not be graded but it is
absolutely essential to solve each hw problem to understand the material and
develop the necessary skills.

-In-class quizzes will be given every Thursday, starting the first week of classes.                  
-Two in-class midterm exams will be given approximately after 6th and 12th weeks of the semester respectively.
-Written Final exam will be given.

The overall grade will depend on the following percentage distribution:   Quzzes 35%,  Midterms 20% each, Final 25%.  

Note, there will be no make-up exams or quizzes except in the case of medical or family emergency.

90+ A, 80+ B, 70+ C, 50+ D, 49- F
