REQUIRED WORK

Math 481 covers parts of Chapters 2 and 6-8.
Your course grade will be determined from (percentages subject to adjustment):
  • 50% Weekly Problem Sets (8), analytical and computational problems. You may work alone or with one partner on problem sets. Collaboration among three or more students is subject to penalties for Academic Dishonesty.
  • 10% Class participation. You will be called on to summarize the algorithms, analysis, and software covered in the assigned reading for each class period.
  • 20% Midterm Exam
  • 20% Final Exam
You are responsible for consulting the Math 481 calendar for reading and homework assignments and exam dates.
