Your course grade will be determined from (percentages subject to adjustment):

[40%] Homework problems will be assigned from each section of the textbook as we cover it. The assignment will usually comprise a proof and a computation. Proofs will be graded for mathematical completeness and correctness, and for the quality of the writing. Computational problems will be graded for correctness and lucidity.
[10%] In-class work. Earn points by participating in activities to enhance understanding.
