- Use solutions of worked examples and practice problems in the textbook as models.
- Write in complete sentences.
- If you need to do a calculation to solve a problem, incorporate the calculation into the narrative of your solution. See the examples on page 13.
- Support your conclusions by citing appropriate definitions or theorems. If a theorem has a name, it is best to cite it by name rather than by page or number and section.
